 Punjab Government will pay 1000 PKR for returning plastic bottles 



Government of Punjab will pay as much as 1000 Pakistani rupees for returning plastic bottles unders it's clean Punjab initiative. Punjab which is home to 12 millions people is taking initiatives  which is an example for other provinces to make clean Pakistan from plastic and helps the environment to be more friendly and clean as well. 

Recently, the government of Punjab signed an agreement with a private company which will install locally manufactured machines based on Chinese technology to recycle plastic bottles. Initially machines will be installed in 4 Universities in Lahore. The company will also collect plastic waste from 18000 junkyards in Lahore. 
The machines will be used to deposit plastic and the credits will be added in the wallet as form of green credits.
